Activities
O-5s Parent and Toddler Group

The 0-5 Club continues to meet on Wednesday from 1.30 to 3.00 pm and is attended by between 10 and 20 children. In the hall, each session, we have playtime, craft work, play dough, jigsaws, books and refreshments - a singsong takes place in the church at the beginning of each session. Once or twice termly Margaret M tells a biblical story from Godly Play using wooden figures.
During the year we have a number of annual events including a visit by Father Christmas (alias Malcolm M) who attends our Christmas party to distribute gifts to the children. The final meeting of the year is the Summer Party when the children moving on to School are presented with a book.
Our meetings could not take place without the regular support of church members and friends.

Gentlemen's Evensong

On the first Sunday evening of the month "Gentlemen's Evensong" is held in the Park Tavern Pub. As you can see from the pictures, singing is not on the agenda. We meet together to enjoy a pint (or two), enjoy the banter and put the world to rights as only a group of men can! Once or twice a year we organise a day trip out.

Summer Walking Group
On Wednesday and Thursday evenings during the summer, we organise walks around the local hills. It is really an excuse to try the drinks and chips at as many village pubs as possible. Details of the walks and dates is available.
